Sportswear

Design & Culture
My journey in sportswear combines a lifelong passion for sneaker culture with hands-on design experience in apparel, branding, and footwear. From building a sneaker collection that reflects global basketball culture to creating team kits, logos, and AI-enhanced shoe designs, I bring both cultural knowledge and creative innovation that align with leading sportswear brands.

Brunel Basketball Kit
& Logo Design
As Founder and President of the Brunel Hong Kong Society, I led the design of a basketball jersey that fused cultural identity with university pride. The kit, built on an Adidas base in white and blue, showcased the Hong Kong flag and a custom-designed logo.

The logo blends BHK letters with icons from Hong Kong and London.
Its blue and yellow palette reflects Brunel University, symbolising a bridge between sport and design.

It has always been my dream to design sneakers and work with brands like Nike and Adidas. During my Art & Design Foundation in Brighton (2017), I created footwear concepts inspired by architecture, culture, and basketball, reflecting my passion for design and sport.
Now in 2025, I’ve reimagined those ideas using AI technology, transforming early sketches into campaign-ready visuals. This project is a collaboration between Sam in 2017 and Sam in 2025 — blending youthful creativity with refined skill to show how sneakers can express culture and identity.

Past Meets Future

Nike Zoom Kaleidoscope

A collaboration concept with Nike, the Zoom Kaleidoscope transforms architectural geometry into a basketball silhouette. Originally designed in 2017 and enhanced with AI rendering in 2025, it demonstrates how cultural storytelling and performance innovation can merge into one striking design.
Inspired by Hong Kong’s Bank of China Tower and its geometric glass facade.

A performance basketball shoe that fuses bold architectural geometry with modern sport functionality. The design reimagines the HSBC Headquarters’ steel-and-glass façade into angular overlays, clean blue accents, and structural lines.
Adidas Blueprint
Inspired by the HSBC Main Building in Hong Kong, reflecting its iconic exposed steel frame, modular structure, and engineering precision.

The Adidas IFC Day & Night Pack pays tribute to the International Finance Centre (IFC) — the most iconic skyscraper in Hong Kong and a global landmark of modern architecture. Designed as a special edition collaboration concept, the pack captures the city’s skyline identity and blends it with the performance-driven DNA of Adidas footwear.
Daylight Edition –
cool blue gradients reflect the IFC against the Hong Kong sky.
Sunset Edition –
warm orange-pink tones capture the tower glowing at dusk.
Both feature the Hong Kong flag on the tongue, symbolising local pride and identity.
